8. You no longer have to be sick in the morning and feel awful for most of the day.
Alcohol is great for destroying your relationships and for quashing your self-confidence, making you feel useless and inadequate. It only serves to hold you back and to ruin your health, it really doesn’t bring any benefits to your life.
It also makes you believe that you will never be able to quit, but this is an illusion. Alcohol may have a powerful hold over you, but it can be beaten and all you need to do is to make the decision to stop drinking.
