Quit alcohol with meditation
I bet you thought the title of this post said “Quit alcohol with medication” Nope, it may sound strange but meditation is a viable option when you quit drinking. Meditation was a great help for me when I quit, it helped me deal with anxiety, stress and the cravings. The great thing was I didn’t have to learn how to meditate, I took a short cut and used binaural beats.
“Binaural beats or binaural tones are auditory processing artifacts, that is, apparent sounds, the perception of which arises in the brain independent of physical stimuli. This effect was discovered in 1839 by Heinrich Wilhelm Dove. ” Source Wikipedia.
That may sound like gobbledygook but in layman’s terms it means if you listen to two slightly different tones through each ear a third tone is created by the brain “a binaural beat” Binaural beats influence the frequency that the brain is operating in, for example, if I listen to a binaural beat of 4.5HZ my brain will attune to that frequency. 4.5HZ is associated with theta frequency and a person in theta is in a state of meditation.
This has fantastic implications as normally it takes years to become adept at meditation, but not with binaural beats after a few sessions of listening to the binaural beats you can do it naturally.
When I gave up drinking two years ago I used binaural beats and found they were very effective at beating my cravings and helping me to deal with anxiety and stress.
Check out the following website, it offers a fantastic programme which worked so well for me. I didn’t need AA, I quit all on my own and binaural beats were a major factor in my success. Today I have no desire for alcohol, I’m confident and successful and I know I’ll never drink again. http://www.binauralsound.com
It will cost you 47 bucks but that’s a small price to pay to quit drinking for good isn’t it?
