This has been my second Xmas without alcohol. I have found Christmas is always the hardest time to be without alcohol. You watch your family knocking back the spirit’s, you play games and enjoy your time together. Alcohol really goes well with the atmosphere. My Christmas traditionally was a time when I’d get up in the morning, open a can of cider and get progressively more and more “out of it” during the day.

I don’t miss that side of Christmas, but I do miss drinking if I’m honest with myself.
