If you are an alcoholic and you truly wish to stop drinking, you will find quitting to be an exhilarating and liberating experience. I believe from the research I’ve carried out that alcoholics have one major factor in common… Responsibility. Most alcoholics I’[ve met are drinking because they want to avoid responsibility for their lives. I personally wanted to be saved, to be mothered and supported whilst I killed myself with my addiction. Anything that came in the way of my addiction would cause resentment and anger. I always drank because of the wrongdoings the world had performed against me…”What utter crock!” The most liberating feeling you will ever experience is to be in control of your own life, it’s not anyone else’s job, don’t put the burden on God either, why should anyone or anything else take responsibility for you?

You’re not a child anymore, your’e an adult and it is your responsibility to yourself and your sense of wellbeing to be in charge of your life.
