About Me
I’m a guy who had a problem, I was addicted to alcohol for nearly thirty years, but in April 2006 I gave up for good. My life went from being totally crap to incredible and all because I said goodbye to a killer habit. It’s my intention to help others to beat their addiction to alcohol, so that they can see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and an escape from alcoholism.
I now am not bothered by alcohol at all and am quite happy to have my wife and her family drinking around me. There is always alcohol in the house and I’m not tempted in the least!
There was a time when that would not have been possible!
If you or someone you love has a problem with alcohol, please do something about it. The world is a lot better place when you are free from addiction.
I’ve created this blog for anyone who has a problem with addiction to alcohol and is ready to do something about it. When I quit drinking I was sadly dissatisfied with the options open to me.
I tried Alcoholics Anonymous, I know it works are some people and for those that it does work for it is a good thing. Sadly Alcoholics Anonymous did not work for me because I needed to reclaim my inner strength and to overcome the factors which made me an alcoholic in the first place.
I know what it’s like to be a slave to an addiction and how that addiction can destroy not only your life but the lives of other people who you come into contact with.
If you’re ready and prepared to take responsibility for your life and to do something about your addiction, then you’ve come to the right place. I will do everything I can to help you, if you have any questions you’d like to ask me send me an e-mail and I’ll get back to you. You can overcome addiction I’m living proof of that and if you’re sincere and honest with yourself then you will be able to.

Blog Response:
You make a good point. A friend of mine just went through drug rehab in Chicago for treatment. You have to stick to the program and not deviate. Support from loved ones goes a long way, too.
I think you’re shamelessly making money out of people’s misery. I am trying desperately hard to overcome alcoholism and finding your sites in my searches is not helping in the least.
Hi Rob,
Thanks for the blog. I’ve been battling the booze for years and I’ve been meditating, on and off, for the same length of time. I’ve been to a few AA meetings but I feel the same way that it is an important life lesson for me to find the inner purpose to stay sober. Its encouraging to read stuff from someone who’s taken the path I want to take. I guess my problem is committing to it and remembering that I’ve stopped.
I’ve bookmarked the site and I’ll be checking it regularly.
FYI The google ads is putting booze ads on your blog.
